A shared vision: Matter and High Performance Foundation in Partnership
Written by Matter. Matter are Founding Patrons of High Performance Foundation.
“At Matter, high performance is more than just a phrase, it’s a core belief embedded into everything we do.
We are a business dedicated to uniting sales, marketing, and data to help B2B businesses grow and connect with modern buyers. Our work is rooted in precision, performance, and a deep understanding of what drives success.
That’s why, when the opportunity arose to become a founding patron of the High Performance Foundation, the decision felt natural. The foundation’s mission, helping young people build resilience, confidence, and a high-performance mindset aligns perfectly with our values as a business.
Why Matter Joined as a Founding Patron
Our journey with the High Performance Foundation began with a simple but important question: How can we make a real difference? For some time, we had been exploring potential charity partnerships, looking for something that truly resonated with us. Then we came across the foundation, a natural extension of the High Performance Podcast, which many of our team members already followed.
“There was an immediate synergy with the High Performance Foundation and what it stands for,” explains Jason Horsman, Co-Founder of Matter.
“As a business, we believe in continuous growth, resilience, and striving for the best, values that are at the heart of the foundation’s work.”
Beyond the philosophy, the foundation’s startup nature also struck a chord with us. As a growing business, we saw a reflection of our own journey in their mission—starting from the ground up, creating something meaningful, and working towards a lasting impact.
“Being part of something from the outset and growing with it was really important to us,” Jason adds. “This wasn’t just about supporting a charity; it was about becoming part of a movement.”
Making a Tangible Impact
One of the key reasons we chose to support the High Performance Foundation was the tangible impact it offers. It can sometimes be difficult to see the direct effect of contributions working with larger charities. With the High Performance Foundation, the impact is clear: funding helps put resources into schools, equips young people with essential skills, and provides support to help them navigate challenges in education and beyond.
Michael Ward, Co-Founder at Matter, echoes this sentiment: “With this foundation, it felt different. The impact was tangible from the start and we could see how it was being used to create real change in young people’s lives.”
This level of transparency and targeted action was a major factor in our decision to get involved. We wanted to support something that we could see growing, developing, and making a meaningful difference over time.
Why Other Businesses Should Get Involved
For businesses considering a charity partnership, we strongly encourage looking beyond the usual suspects. Supporting the High Performance Foundation is about more than just donating, it’s about investing in the future of young people, the workforce, and ultimately, society as a whole.
As patrons, we see our role as more than financial support. We are committed to amplifying the foundation’s message, sharing their resources, and actively contributing to their mission in any way we can. In fact, we’re exploring ways to dedicate our expertise, offering time and skills to help the foundation grow and connect with other like-minded businesses.
What lies ahead?
We’re excited for what’s to come.
As part of our commitment, we’re looking at new ways to contribute, whether through fundraising challenges, spreading awareness, or even using our expertise in sales and marketing to help the foundation reach more supporters.
If your business is looking to make a meaningful impact, we highly recommend exploring a partnership with the High Performance Foundation. Join us in helping to shape a future where young people have the resilience, confidence, and tools they need to succeed.
We can build something truly extraordinary.”
